$12 once, and that is the whole of it
One payment of $12 USD for a licence to use Shunt on up to three of your own Macs. This licence does not renew automatically, there is no subscription, and nothing charges you a second time.
Shunt is not on sale yet. Version 0.1.0 has to be notarized by Apple before a copy will open on a Mac that has never seen it, and that is the last step before the download and the buy button appear. The price and the terms on this page are the ones that will apply. Write to support@shuntapp.com if you want a note when it opens.

Who takes the payment
Polar is the Merchant of Record for this purchase. The sale is made by Polar, who take the payment, handle sales tax and VAT, issue your receipt and appear on your card or bank statement. Your contract for the payment is with Polar. Your licence to use the software is granted by the terms on this site.
There is no other payment processor involved and no other company takes your card details. Polar emails the licence key to the address you use at checkout as soon as the payment clears.
Getting your money back
Fourteen days from purchase, in full, without having to give a reason. Write to support@shuntapp.com and it is refunded to the card you paid with. The full wording, including what happens if Shunt is broken in a way that cannot be fixed for you, is on the refund page.
What there is no charge for
- The browser extension. It is part of Shunt and is not sold separately.
- Support. You write to a person, not to a paid tier.
- Moving your licence to a new Mac, however many times you replace machines.
What is not offered
There is no free tier, no trial that turns into a subscription, no monthly plan and no per-seat dashboard. Shunt is a single small tool sold once. If a future major version is a separate paid upgrade, the version you paid for keeps working exactly as it does now and nothing is switched off to push you into buying again.
Taxes
Whether sales tax or VAT is added on top of the $12 depends on where you are. Polar calculates it at checkout and shows the total before you confirm, so the figure you approve is the figure you are charged.
